WhatsApp is being shut down on 50 smartphones

WhatsApp is a regular messaging app for users.

According to the company’s new announcement, WhatsApp will be turned off on older versions of Android and iOS operating systems.

In all updates, a minimum standard for smartphone components and software is set. It is not only to give new benefits, there is also the issue of security.

WhatsApp will be closed on phones with older operating systems from November 1. The app will gradually become obsolete on older phones, except in cases where there is an opportunity to update the phone’s software. If you want to use the app, then there will be no way without buying a new phone.

Those who want to retrieve messages and pictures exchanged on WhatsApp from the old phone to the new phone, must first backup the chat history on the old phone and restore it to the new phone. However, in many cases the work is done automatically. Let’s see which operating system is shutting down WhatsApp.

WhatsApp will be turned off on Android 4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and earlier versions of smartphones. The first version was released in 2011.

To run WhatsApp, your iPhone’s operating system must be at least iOS 10 version. However, Apple usually updates the software on older phones. Update quickly if you have the opportunity.
