GACA issues circular to Airlines For Direct Arrivals from all Of Countries

The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) in Saudi Arabia issued its instructions to all airlines operating in the Kingdom’s airports regarding allowing direct entry from all countries for travelers who received 1 dose of the vaccine inside the Kingdom.

The circular specifies that, allow direct entry from all countries for travelers who have received one dose of the vaccine inside the Kingdom, with the application of institutional quarantine procedures for a period of 3 days for travelers.

The authority confirmed that the work of these procedures will take effect from 1 AM of Saturday, 4th December 2021 (29/4/1443).

The GACA stated that all airlines should continue to educate travelers about the importance of sticking to the application of all precautionary and preventive measures adopted in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Earlier this, GACA directs all airlines operating in the Kingdom to suspend flights from and to 7 countries and they are South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Lesotho, Eswatini. Later Ministry of Interior added 7 more countries in the list of suspended countries, which are Malawi, Zambia, Madagascar, Angola, Seychelles, Mauritius and Comoros.

Those who have spent a period of not less than 14 days in any third country from which entry is permitted can enter into Saudi Arabia, by applying institutional quarantine of 5 days, including citizens of the Kingdom, regardless of their vaccination status.
